Our children’s program is designed to engage, enlighten and develop young people both physically and mentally. Physically we challenge our students with basic Tae Kwon Do techniques, while incorporating fun and camaraderie into the curriculum. Children are motivated to advance through a series of belts. These skills help to develop gross motor skills, improve coordination, balance, and a strong mind. Our program’s focus also includes a list of core values presented in the “7 Home Rules”.
The Adult program is designed for both the beginner and continuing Tae Kwon Do student. Wether you want to advance in Tae Kwon Do, or looking for a healthy and fun way to stay physically active, this is the class for you. The classes are challenging, but tailored to every skill level providing a rewarding experience. Classes will enable you to reduce stress, gain confidence, learn self-defense, develop strength, and increase your cardio vascular fitness. Skip the boring repetitive workout at the gym and enjoy our dynamic program designed to keep you on your toes.
Our exciting senior program offers older adults the opportunity to stay active both physically and mentally. For older adults, the number-one priority must be maintaining your quality of life outside the gym. Tae Kwon Do will help you achieve those goals. We utilize Tae Kwon Do forms to increase balance, stamina, muscle strength, and memory in a fun and social environment. Seniors are encouraged to build upon techniques, while striving to develop new skills. Join us today to strengthen both your body and mind.
This program provides students with an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of sparring in Tae Kwon Do. Students will also learn the rules and regulations from the World Taekwon-do Federation (WTF). The student learns correct punching and blocking, combination kicking, how to attack and counter attack, to control distance, and to anticipate their opponents’ actions. Sparring is an excellent way for a student to continue improving their kicking techniques, agility, breathing, and self-control. This class involves full contact sparring. Participants are required to wear pads. This is a fast paced and high endurance class.
As a black belt the students have a chance to develop leadership skills and inspire other Tae Kwon Do students on their road to advancement. Our black belt program helps to refine the student’s skills and move beyond the basics into advanced forms and techniques. As a black belt our students have the opportunity to learn mixed martial arts and gain proficiency with martial arts tools such as nunchucks.
